Generous support from corporations and individuals allows the Center for Mental Retardation to continue to provide much-needed services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. You can also support CMR by becoming a member. Individual memberships are $20; Organization memberships are $35.

VOLUNTEER

The support of a variety of volunteers always is appreciated. To join CMR in the fight for the rights of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, call 216.622.0755 or e-mail cmr-clev@cmr-cleveland.org. CMR offers a variety of ways in which you can lend your time:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support such as mailings, making copies and filing 
  • Serve on the board of directors
  • Mentor a parent of a child with intellectual disabilities
  • Mentor an adult with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist staff with programs
  • Volunteer to help with an event (setup, registration, raffle tickets, etc.)

 

EVENTS

CMR hosts several fundraising events each year, including the CMR/Baker Walk, CMR Open and Legacy Luncheon. You can support CMR by purchasing tickets or sponsorships for these events. For more information, click here, call 216.622.0755 or e-mail cmr-clev@cmr-cleveland.org.
